1. Agreement to Terms

By booking, paying for, or entering the studio, the Renter agrees to be bound by these Terms & Liability Policy.

Completion of payment constitutes acceptance of these terms.

If the Renter does not agree to these terms, they may not use the studio.

2. Use of Space

The studio is provided as a temporary rental space for photography, video production, and approved creative uses only.

Renter agrees not to use the space for any illegal, hazardous, or unauthorized activity.

3. Responsibility for Damages

Renter is fully responsible for any and all damage that occurs during their rental period.

This includes damage caused by:

• Renter

• Guests, clients, assistants, or vendors

• Equipment or props brought into the space

Damage includes, but is not limited to:

• Walls, floors, ceilings, doors, and fixtures

• Furniture, props, or studio equipment

• Stains, spills, smoke, or excessive cleaning requirements

• Loss or theft of studio property during rental time

Renter agrees to cover full repair or replacement costs, including labor and materials.

4. Cleaning & Condition

Renter agrees to leave the studio in the same condition it was received.

Additional cleaning fees may be charged if the space is left in poor condition.

5. Occupancy & Conduct

Renter is responsible for all individuals present during the booking.

Maximum occupancy: 10

The Renter agrees to ensure respectful behavior and compliance with studio rules.

6. Liability Waiver

Renter assumes all risk associated with use of the studio.

Studio Owners are not liable for:

• Personal injury or accidents

• Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings

• Equipment failure not caused by negligence of Studio Owners

• Any actions or damages caused by Renter or their guests

7. Indemnification

Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Studio Owners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or legal actions arising from their use of the studio.

8. Building & External Property

The studio is located within a shared building.

Studio Owners are not responsible for:

• Building maintenance issues

• Elevator or common area malfunctions

• Parking, exterior access, or building security systems

Renter agrees to follow all building rules and instructions.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations and refund policies are determined at the time of booking and/or platform used (including third-party platforms such as Peerspace).

10. Force Majeure

Studio Owners are not liable for cancellations or interruptions due to events outside reasonable control (weather, power outages, emergencies, etc.).

11. Governing Agreement

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

12. Acceptance

By completing payment or entering the studio, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Liability Policy.
